Community Hike: February - Friends of Gladstone Nature Park

9-11am @ Friends of Gladstone Nature Park, detailed directions for carpooling and meetup will be shared prior to hike
Come join us as we take a leisurely hike to explore 11.5 acres of rehabilitated landscape at the Friends of Gladstone Park. There is a pollinator hill, storywalk "We've Got The Whole World In Our Hands," by Rafael Lopez, is presented in English and Spanish.
The Nature Park is predominantly a White Oak Savannah and woodland that features basalt outcroppings and boulders, and mature trees. The park features many Oregon native plants, including Oregon grape, ocean spray, Pacific ninebark, thimbleberry, Garry Oak, and Pacific madrone. In Winter, licorice fern dominates the shady areas. There is an abundance of wildlife to see here – grab your binoculars and watch.

Terrain: Soft dirt and paved paths should be easy to moderate hiking
